The Pinellas Shrine Club was founded in 2014 by three Nobles: Chas Jordan, Jay Dingman, and Trace Meek. All of these nobles had two things in common: first, they were younger Shriners and new to the Fraternity, and second, they had a great affinity for craft beer. Oh yeah, and they all lived in Pinellas County. Nobles Jay and Trace were working with our Past Potentate James Lich to create a new club for like-minded Nobles, and from that discussion came the idea of chartering a new shrine club for Pinellas County. Noble Chas was asked to come on board (voluntold actually) as the Club’s first president, and in January of 2014, a charter was granted, and the Pinellas Shrine Club was born.
The Pinellas Shrine Club has a base concept that still exists today. The Club would never be a difficult organization for a Noble to be a member of, or an officer of. It would only exist to serve as a refreshing change of pace and a fun way to meet and greet our brothers of the Masonic and Shrine fraternities.
